| Mountboard |
| We stock in excess of 80
different colours and use white core acid free and conservation
mountboard as standard, also if required for volume customers upon
request, we can provide PH neutral standard mountboard which come
slightly cheaper. |
| Glazing |
| The glass in picture framing
these days comes in a variety of types from the standard clear float
glass, up to museum quality. Most of our customers choose either
clear float (standard picture frame glass) or diffused (non
reflective) glass. However speciality glass is becoming much more
affordable and popular as it is more widely used. |
| In particular we are using
true vue clear and non reflective much more frequently. The main
benefits of this type of glass are the blocking of U.V.
Light(97-98%) which prevents the framed artwork from fading or
yellowing |
